3. Use fiberglass batting insulation into the interior of the walls before applying drywall sheet to the walls.

4. Purchase a soundproof wall sheeting from any of the drywall contractor or home suppliers stores. Place the soundproof wall sheeting in a dangling position over the frame. It should remain behind the drywall.

5. Select double or triple paned vinyl windows for your new home. These windows not only provide good insulation against heat and cold, but also from sounds and noise.

3. Build another wall inside the existing wall. Remember both the walls have an enough gap between them. This gap is due to the sound isolation clips. This gap will help to stop the sound waves from one room to another.

4. Paints containing fibers and resins are also available in the market. These paints have the tendency to absorb the sound waves. They are latex paints which are only renowned for their sound absorbing feature.

5. Carpets, draperies or shutters on the windows can also be helpful to stop the sound transmission. Solid doors can also be helpful in this regard.
